Let me get straight to the point. This project has been a labor of love that I started during Christmas 2021 and it's taken nearly a year to bring it to life. It's a 100% self funded hobby. I've learned a lot and I hope to continue to build up this show every year.
That being said, there is work to be done in the world. If this show brought you joy, if it brought your family together, if it brought a smile to your face or a laugh to your belly, I humbly ask that you donate through our donation page. The funds raised will be split evenly 3 ways and given to our donation partners listed below. I do not take a cut of any money raised.
Supporting our Neighbors
Bellflower Lights is proud to partner with the Sun Prairie Food Pantry. Food insecurity impacts 1 in 9 people in the United States in 2022. In this season of giving, we open our hearts to support those that may not know how they'll feed their families in the coming days, weeks or months.
Giving Hope to the Children of Jamaica
Bellflower Lights is partnering with the Issa Trust Foundation. Over the past decade, we (my spouse and I) have traveled to Jamaica to stay at their beautiful resorts. Jamaica is an amazing country that expresses the beauty and warmth of the Caribbean, but like many countries in that region, is challenged by poverty and access to health care. We are proud to partner with the Issa Trust Foundation as they begin their journey of building a free children's healthcare clinic in Ocho Rios, Jamaica. Your donation will help bring foundational care to the youngest in the community.
Keeping Music in our Schools
Sun Prairie Band Boosters is the driving force behind our youngest community musicians. SPBB ensures that our students get the opportunity to perform on stages, big and small, here in Sun Prairie and across the country. This includes groups like Sun Prairie Jazz, the Sun Prairie United Flute Choir and the Sound of Sun Prairie drum corp.
